With only a couple of days left of january I finally made my christmas card for this month!
I have to edmit that I´m a little "tired of" christmas-cards right now... *lol* ...but thats the reason why I set this goal at the first time. So I don´t have to make all these cards in the last minute...

I took the chance to jump on the challenge over at Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar at the same time.

This week at SWE scrapbooking challenge blog we are creating with only leftover DP´s.
And wow what a surprice for me. I´ve havent had my nose down that box for ages! It was filled with all these lovely papers and I´ve forgotten all about them! I have to do this more often!

One of my personal goals this year is to do more layouts! I want to get going with a little more scrapbooking, especially for my kids. So - I´ve made a goal to at least do one LO a month. Shouldn´t be impossible, hey?!

I hope you haven´t missed all the exciting happenings at Some Odd Girl this week!!?
They are celebrating their first year and are having an Anniversary week, with lots of challenges.
And I´ve been crafting and coloring all week, waiting for the weekend so I can take pictures of all of them.
You see, it´s really dark in the afternoons when I come home from work... ;0)
(I´m actually starting to miss the spring now)

So here they are, all challenges in one post:

The first challenge was to use 1 digi in 3 different ways. A really fun challenge!
I immediately felt that I wanted to do something a little shabby. Not to much, but kind of "shabby light"... ;0)


So - here they are, all three together.

The second challenge was a Color Pride.

It´s a little bit hard showing the colors when its in the photo, but it´s all done with the colors above... ;0)

So on for the third challenge: Kids challenge! This was such a great idea!!!
And my two sons gladly took there colorpencils and started woorking..!

The fourth challenge was too pick 3 Elements from a list, each beginning with a letter from Some Odd Girl.
I´ve picked: Shaped card, Orange and Ric Rak.

The last challenge was to create a Mini card (no larger than 3" x 4").
For this one a wanted to do something a little different, for me. So I´ve done this card all in the computer! Not the seewing of course! But the rest of it.

Efter en vecka i pastellfärger, hjärtan och en hel del rosa så avslutar jag med ett lite tuffare kort med ett av mina favoritmotiv från Greeting Farm.

After a week in pastel colors, hearts and a lot of pink Im ending this week with a little bit tougher card with one of my favorite motif from Greeting Farm.

Inkywings har tagit in en av mina absoluta favoriter i pappersväg; MME´s Alphabet Soup.
(för det har ni väl inte missat...)
Här har jag använt två av "baksidorna".

Har den senaste tiden ramlat över både den ena efter den andra fina after eight automaten på nätet.
En fantastiskt finurlig och fin liten gå-bort-present. Eller att ha hemma själv för den delen!
Och den är riktigt enkel och rolig att göra.
Det finns som vanligt många olika mallar och varianter men jag har utgått ifrån den här, och sedan modifierat vissa mått för att få den att passa mina önskemål.

Recently I´ve fallen across both one after the other fine after eight box on the internet.
A fantastically clever and nice little going-away gift. Or to have at home for that matter!
And it is really easy and fun to make.
There are as usual many different models and variants, but I have assumed this, and then modified some measure to make it fit my needs.

Yes, it´s wednesday again and that means card inspiration day in SWE scrapbookings challenge blog!

This week the challenge is to make yellow cards with stars.
Hmmmm, when I checked my paper collection I discovered that it didn´t contained many yellow papers...
So - I went making one of my own. :0)



The sentiment means "Your a star" in swedish.

En av mina favorit tekniker just nu är den typen av maskning som Distress-rutorna går ut på. Samma som jag visade i det här inlägget. Tekniken går att använda på så många roliga och olika vis.

Här har jag använt tekniken för att göra alla hjärtans dag kort!

One of my favorite techniques right now is the type of masking that makes the so called Distress-boxes. Same as I showed in this post. The technique can be used in so many fun and different ways.

Here I've used the technique to make a Valentine's Day card!



Jag har använt mig av stämpeln "gammalt brev" på kanterna samt blommstämplar från Tim Holtz i den rosa nyansen bakom. Det härliga bröllopsparet är från Greeting Farm.

Ja, då var det dags för ett nytt härligt pyssel år!!
Tror personligen att det kommer att bli fullt med pyssel. Jag hoppas det iallafall!

För att börja året bra så fick mitt första projekt bli att göra mig en ny inspirationsbok för 2011.
Jag tycker det är jätte skönt att ha allting samlat på ett ställe och så är det lätt att hitta inspirationen om den tryter...

Yes, it´s time for a new lovely crafting year!
Personally I believe that there will be plenty of crafting. I hope so anyway! :0)

To start the year well, got my first project to be making me a new inspirational book for 2011.
I really like to have everything gathered in one place and it´s also easy to find the inspiration if it´s "on the run"...



Jag har använt mig av Bind it All-maskinen för att binda ihop den.



Fram- och baksidan består av de lite tjockare, härliga kraftpappren som finns i butiken. Älskar dom!!!

Sedan har jag använt symaskinen och dekorerat med ett enkelt chipboard hjärta.
Hjärtat är målat med Promarkers och så har jag sprayat med Glimmer Mist - chalkboard och gnuggat fast några rub-ons.



Texten är utstansad, fastlimmad och sedan har jag haft på 3d-glaze för att få lite mer effekt.

Inuti har jag gjort egna tabs som jag sedan dekorerat med mini-alphas i olika vairanter på, för att markera ut de olika "områden" som jag delat in boken i.
Jag har också använt olika band, som jag häftat fast med Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher.



Jag börjar bolen med en sida med utmaningar till mig själv! Bland annat så har jag tänkt göra ett julkort i månaden (inte ett i veckan, det vet jag redan nu att det inte kommer gå.. ;0)) och så vill jag scrappa lite mer LO´s. Så där har jag också sagt minst en i månaden! Blir det fler så är det ju bara bra... :0)

Sen kanske det dyker upp fler mål, det vet man aldrig...
